Two new sources for video, sound and podcasts.
1. Macaulay library’s Animal Sound & Video Catalog: from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. A really nice resource with lots of video and animal behavior sound recordings.
2. Another great guide from the Library of Congress: Podcasts, Webcasts & Othe Digital Media Files. Tutorials on podcasting, definitions and sources of science podcasts. Good, quick overview and nice variety of links.
This project from Cornell University is tracking sightings of ladybugs which have become rare here. You can list your sighting and learn more about the project and ladybugs on this site.
The California Ocean Resources Management Program website has policy documents, information about legislation and links to other resources pertaining to California’s ocean and coastal resources.

This site has the 2008 final agreement on ocean health by the govenors of California, Oregon, and Washington. Lots of documents about the agreement and actions. The journal Nature has a small, but growing online streaming video archive. Videos complement some articles or letters from the journal. Online videos are free to use. Many different topics. Check it out here.
